Joe’s Waterfront, nestled at the crown of Boston’s North End Waterfront, showcases the best views of the Boston Harbor amidst some of the city’s most beloved historic landmarks. The menu features creatively flavorful dishes and modern fare made with local ingredients fresh from the ocean, farm, and neighborhood purveyors. Throughout the modernized dining room, nautically themed artwork and décor adorn the walls and surround diners against the gorgeous Boston Harbor backdrop that’s been woven into the story for decades. Upstairs at Joe’s debuts a comfortable new dining, lounge, and bar area with spectacular waterfront views from above. Adjacent to the lounge is a separate private dining area ideal for intimate events. Joe’s Waterfront offers brunch, lunch, and dinner with indoor and outdoor seating.                 This is a very nice establishment in a great location. Service left much to be desired. Server “Em*” got to us when she wanted to. Food was good but attention to getting beverages, condiments, and even a bill seemed to be difficult. This was not a very welcoming experience but I would try it again when back in town to give it a second chance.

                Our server accidentally spilled an entire (red) drink on my 67 year old mother - it landed on her face, in her hair, covered her white shirt, wet her phone, soiled her jacket and it went all over the table. The manager never even came over to see what they could do and nothing was removed from the bill as a courtesy. I worked in food service for 20+ years and would never let that slide. Accidents happen but it was embarrassing for my mother and her clothing was ruined. She had to spend the entire dinner covered in a drink

                Came for Thanksgiving and the fixed menu was mediocre. They ran out of the pumpkin cheesecake (and did not tell us before we ordered). Service was slow. Disappointed that we chose this restaurant for our thanksgiving dinner and they did nothing to elevate the experience. One positive is that they offered their full regular menu and in hindsight we would have definitely not ordered the Thanksgiving options. We were a party of 6 and didn’t order any alcohol and our check was over $350.00. Definitely did not feel worth it.

                Raw oysters on the half shell were incredibly small and disappointing. Bouillabaisse and Shimp Scampi Linguini were spectacular however!

                Overall had a good time. Food was ok but on expensive side - Thanksgiving prefix. Wine was expensive too - $16/glass.
