Jeffrey's Restaurant & Bar has been an Austin fine dining institution since 1975. In 2012 the restaurant closed for a major renovation and was reopened by McGuire Moorman Lambert Hospitality. The legendary restaurant, nestled in the Clarksville neighborhood just west of downtown, features a lively bar and three distinct dining rooms. The menus, from executive chef Mark McCain, features dry-aged prime steaks, updated classic fine dining, and locally sourced produce. The award-winning wine list, one of the largest and most diverse in Texas, features highly-sought after vintages from Old and New World producers. Private dining in the Napoleon Room and The Apartment is available for special events. Valet service is offered.

The charming neighborhood location, old world service & multiple private dining options make Jeffrey's a true Austin gem. Jeffrey's was named “Top 10 Best New Restaurants” in the country by Bon Appetit magazine in 2013.

    My husband and I were celebrating both his birday and the date of our first date...34 years ago AT JEFFREY'S! The wait staff were superb, and timed bringing each dish according to when we were ready for it. We chose practically ALL of their appetizers, instead of an entree- opting to share and savor each of them. It was a romantic and perfect evening!

    Our server, Elena, the best!!! Truly fantastic and helped to yet again push Jeffrey’s over the top. We dined here for my wife’s b-day and she was not disappointed. The entire, I mean the entire , staff was phenomenal! The valet was super welcoming and was terrific. Everyone took such good care of us. The food, as expected, did not disappoint. Everything served to us was delicious and beautifully presented

    What a terrific fine dining establishment, the servers were astoundingly professional and friendly. Our server gave us great recommendations and prevented us from over-ordering. We especially loved the popovers, a New York strip, the snapper and the Dover sole. And the baked Alaska was stunning. From the moment you arrive at Jeffrey’s, you see the sense of professionalism at every step of the way. One of Austin‘s finest.

    Fabulous dining experience from being greeted upon entry all the way through dinner and leaving. First time ever being acknowledged for our celebration dinner noted on the Open Table reservation! Staff were fabulous, there when you needed something but not obtrusive. Kudos to all the chefs in the kitchen. The food was elegantly served and everything tasted as good as it looked. While Brussel Sprouts are not my favorite vegetable, these crispy wood fired sprouts with a creamy sauce were divine. Everything was perfect and made for a wonderful celebration dinner. Thank you!

    The food was all delicious with favorites being the lobster bisque, hamachi carpaccio, and baked Alaska. Our server was attentive and very helpful. Definitely recommending this restaurant as a great elevated dining experience.
