   Best decision I made while visiting Louisville! Ambience was just about the best I’ve experienced. Piano player at bar was wonderful! Perfectly crafted cocktails were wonderful, whiskey assortment unparalleled. Steak was cooked to perfection, Brussels sprouts were best I’ve had. Do not miss this opportunity!

   Jeff Ruby’s has always been our go-to for a five-star dining experience, but unfortunately, this visit fell far short of expectations. From the moment we received our first drink to the time we were handed the check, less than an hour had passed, making the entire meal feel rushed rather than the relaxed, upscale experience we’ve come to expect. Our server, Jade, was not necessarily bad, but the level of service did not meet the usual Jeff Ruby’s standard. The food was also disappointing—both the burger and the lobster gnocchi lacked flavor, which was surprising given the restaurant’s reputation for excellence. Additionally, we were repeatedly asked if we wanted our food boxed up while we were still eating, further adding to the rushed atmosphere. We truly hope this was just an off night, but it does give us pause before choosing to spend several hundred dollars here again. Jeff Ruby’s has set a high bar, and we hope to see it return to the exceptional experience we’ve always known and loved.

   62nd Wedding anniversary We celebrated as a family for our mom and dad’s anniversary. Ask for Daniela she did a great job for our family tonight. All the food was great as usual. If you get the skillet cookie for dessert. I recommend getting two scoops of vanilla ice cream and skip the chocolate ice cream. Great dessert but they all are great.

   Picked up a reservation from wait list through Open Table. Got a great banquette table. Fun for people watching. Server was perfect on a busy night.

   The food was excellent and the service was outstanding! The only issue was we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and were seated at a square table in the open party room. Normally we always have a booth, so it just wasn’t as comfortable or romantic given the celebration.

   Jeff Ruby's was the perfect choice for my special birthday dinner! The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable. The ambiance was elegant, setting the stage for a delightful evening. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything was cooked to perfection and left us wanting more. To top off the night, we indulged in the Jordan Shoe Chocolate cake, which was a showstopper! Not only was it visually impressive, but its rich chocolate flavor made it the perfect sweet ending to our celebration.    Outstanding experience in every way! My wife and I were in Louisville visiting our son and daughter-n-law and wanting to have a special night and make some memories! Jeff Ruby’s fit the bill… We will be going back at our next opportunity…

    Went for Valentine’s Day was seated in a room next to the kitchen (I think they use for private parties). Really didn’t get the full experience we’ve had in the past. I don’t think I would ever recommend going for a holiday like that if you want the full Jeff Ruby’s experience. I certainly wouldn’t do it again.
