The hotel’s ground-floor entrance and street-level restaurant Jara throw open the doors to beautiful strangers and the buzzing street scene, while guests enjoy farm-to-table cuisine and fresh cocktails, café-style. On the menu are dishes that allow ingredients to do the talking: vine-ripened tomato tartare expresses the agrarian staple at its finest. Sea bass and other fruits de la mer celebrate Ibiza’s rich port history. In the evening, Jara is a social and culinary destination, upping the ante within intimate banquettes and closed curtains, creating an atmosphere where anything goes.

El ambiente en The Standard Ibiza es increíble, y tanto la comida como el servicio fueron excepcionales. Los platos estaban deliciosos y el personal fue muy atento y amable. Sin embargo, la música estaba demasiado alta durante la cena, lo que dificultaba mantener una conversación. Si ajustaran el volumen, la experiencia sería perfecta. ¡Gracias por todo!

Lovely interior and setting but food disappointing and incredibly salty. I’m sure in the height of season the atmosphere would be fantastic. Service very mixed, some big smiles but also end of season fatigue.

The food was great, the place is gorgeous. However, I do think the place needs time to improve. The location is not yet on the same level as the other properties in the Standard chain. For instance, the service was quite confused, could not recommend a red wine glass according to what I asked or what I ordered. The location was empty at 8pm, a few people were at the Bar and two waiters were talking with people they seem to be friends with while we were hoping to order something else and were trying to make eye contact with one of them. Yet, the potentiel is here since the food was good and the service very polite and smily.
