Appetizers were decent. Maki was barely edible and the service was terrible. This restaurant wouldn’t last a week in NYC. Overpriced and just an unpleasant experience. Hard to believe the Setai tolerates this level of ineptitude

Our first experience at Japón at the week it opened was amazing. We returned and brought 2 friends. This time, we were there for 3 hours. Our server came to our table twice in the entire time. We waiting 30 min after sitting and still no server came to our table. We had to ask for a server to come. Then trying to diffuse the awareness of having waited so long we make a comment to the server about how busy the restaurant is and he said no it’s actually not busy.

The ambience is very nice, the service is great (as usual in The Setai) but I was expecting much more on the food/menu side. Tuna pizza was my fav, king crab roll too salty, the rest was average.

Made reservation for my friends birthday dinner the aerial dancers were amazing so were the drinks and food. The service was personal and we all enjoyed ourselves
