    Amazing service, cocktails and sushi!!!! The specialty rolls are unique and filled with subtle flavors. I am a huge fan of the appetizers…it was a fantastic experience.

    Cocktails were spectacular! Specialty rolls, sashimi, and apps were phenomenal. Minor issue with forgotten drink order (lost order ticket) but server got it all rectified in a timely fashion.

    Have now dined twice at Jappango Fort Collins, The Nigiri we sampled was very good. We did not sample their "special" maki, but did try a number of unadorned maki rolls,: tuna, salmon, yellowtail, salmon skin and their shrimp tempura avocado. On both occasions the rolls were underwhelming; essentially rice wrapped in seaweed, with barely any fish. Go to Lucky's and get their sushi, virtually equivalent.

    We enjoyed a great meal at Japango. The sashimi, nigiri, and tempura all had great flavors and textures. Comparing 4 salmon sources was really neat. The otoro was sublime. Great sake selection and server was a great navigator of the list. We’ll be back!

    The only negative comment I have is the relatively short pour on expensive drinks. They taste great, could just be a fuller glass please. I did not order a second drink because of this.

    My friend and I went there for my birthday, I was seated in front of the denver nuggets game as requested, and the waitress gave me the best little dessert sample! The drinks (I got the warrior monk) and food (miso soup/Denali roll) was AMAZING!! I wish I could remember the waitresses name because she was so helpful and delightful. I'll be returning <3

    The food was great and our waitress was great too. Unfortunately the host staff is what makes me mark our experience lower. We had reservations, checked in 5 minutes early, and then were left sitting there for 25 minutes. After seeing numerous people arrive after us getting seated and with reservations AFTER us (I overheard their time) I went up to inquire why we hadn’t been seated yet even though we were 20 min after our time. Only then did we get seated. Pretty frustrating. Luckily the food and rest of our time was good.

    Great overall experience. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Service was great! Price is very reasonable. Sushi rolls not as large as we were expecting but tasted great. Very glad to have a new sushi place in FOCO!
