We sat outside and felt like the servers were not attentive. Asked for more salad dressing g and never received it. Beans were not hot. No butter for the cornbread. Meat was good.

From start to finish excellent. Oscar was a great waiter and took good care of us. Sat on patio with lots of heaters.

They put us at a dirty, rickety plastic table behind a pile of propane tanks. The waitress was very nice but was over worked and spent half an hour looking for table cloths to cover up the grubby table. Service was very slow. We were there for a birthday celebration and had been there a few times in the past and had great experiences but this time the setting was definitely second rate for the price.

The food is on the high end price-wise. Our party of 10 had mixed reviews on their meals. The fish and chips were considered overpriced and not very tasty. The smoked beef tips were very good with generous portions. We were seated outdoors next to the lawn so there were no echoes, but there were children running around on the grassy area. We missed the waterfall that used to have a noise damping effect. Our service was excellent! Jesse H. recognized the festive mood of our group and matched it, joking along with us while responding to our every request. Overall it was a very fun night that could only have been improved with a less pricey tab.

3 of us went for brunch--disappointing. It's such a beautiful space. We've been there through each change of ownership and it never seems to improve. Bloody Mary had no flavor. We sent it back and ordered 2 different drinks--we saw them sitting on the end of the bar for about 10 minutes before I finally went over and picked them up myself. One omelet came WAY under cooked--runny inside. Salsa came halfway through the meal--and again, no flavor. The restaurant is very large--it seemed as if they had servers running all over the place, including outside, instead of concentrating on an area. Overall, not special. Friendly but no reason to go back.

Jackalope Ranch is a uniquely large restaurant with several bars and dining areas.  We decided to pop in for brunch, sit at a patio table overlooking the beautiful garden and enjoy live music.  What a treat – or was it…. My husband and I each ordered a cheeseburger (cooked to different temperatures).  My burger arrived on a dirty plate that appeared to have dish soap circles all over it.  Yuck.  It was really busy and our server was swamped; it seemed impossible to get anyone’s attention.  But finally, we both got out of our chairs and flagged a bus person.   I explained the situation and decided to simply ask for a clean plate instead of a new meal because the kitchen was so busy and it would have likely taken too long… Oops, tick tock, wrong-o!  It took sooooo long for something soooooo simple – a plate….   As we patiently waited, my husband nearly finished his burger, despite eating slow.  Once the clean plate arrived, I finally swapped out the filthy one and cut my now cold burger in half - only to realize they gave me the wrong burger….  Then we realized there wasn’t any ketchup for the fries.  Ugh!  So instead of trying to get someone’s attention - again; I went up to the bartender.  “Nope, we have none here but I’ll inform your server” she said.  OMG – it’s a Seinfeld episode.   By the time the new plate arrived and the ketchup a full 30 minutes had passed…   Short staffed and short sighted for not keeping condiments at the bar to help out the overloaded servers.  Tsk, tsk management – you’re not managing your restaurant.   Ok, on to the food review…. The burger looked like a mechanically formed patty and, no surprise, lacked any flavour other than the cardboard box it was likely shipped frozen in.  A ho hum 2/10 because the fries were good and our waitress was very friendly (no fault of hers).

First time going to Jackalope Ranch, we expected more for the hype. But a bit disappointed we ordered a tomahawk at med rare temp and we got it medium to well done, for a $140 piece of meat to not come out the way you want it not cool! But we were hungry and it was late so my husband ate it. I also ordered the wedge salad with chicken, chicken was dry and not tasty at all. The kids ordered their entres and they seemed to like it. Service was good. Appetizers such as their nachos and calamari were very good!

Beautiful atmosphere. A family place for sure. Not a date night. Our waiter was great at the beginning but then got too busy. Not attentive.

Wonderful atmosphere so glad they reopened. Had the fish and chips my wife had the sliders both very good. Only thing I can say about the service was once we got our food our waiter never came by to ask us if the food was good and finally I had to asked a busboy if if could get a refill for my coffee. But will be back
