Italian by Night is an urban Italian restaurant and bar with a cuisine focused on old world techniques in a modern kitchen.

A romantic Italian restaurant in Uptown Saint John with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is a mix of rustic exposed brick and wood beams, as well as elegant touches like linen tablecloths, fresh flowers and candles on the tables.

The menu offers a wide variety of Italian dishes, ranging from classic favorites like pizza and pasta to more upscale options like seafood, steaks, and excellent wine list. We use fresh ingredients, with a focus on high-quality flavors and presentation.

    We're been going to IBN since it opened on Germain in 2016, but still can't get enough of it! The ambiance is energetic but not overpowering, the food is 5-star and the service is the gold standard anywhere. Every dish is created with care, plated to perfection and served with class. They make you feel like a "somebody" and you leave feeling like you may have just had a jaunt to Italy. If you like seafood, experience the Scoglio. Epic. The Polenta (app) is extraordinary and the Risotto is second to none. Can't wait to return!

    IBN was a regular spot for us when we lived in the SJ area, but having moved a year ago, we hadn’t been since. We were excited to revisit with a trip to SJ last week and it was just as great as we’d remembered! The menu features some new additions, along with some old favourites and everything was excellent. The service and ambiance top notch as always! Well done IBN and we look forward to seeing you again next time in SJ.

    The food was nice as always. The noise level was higher than I have ever seen before though and that sort of ruined the romantic experience I was trying to achieve. All things considered, we still enjoyed the meal together

    This establishment had great ambience. We had the steak special which was top-notch and one person in our party had the lasagna and she thoroughly enjoyed it. I would recommend this restaurant anybody looking for fine dining.

    The service, setting, drinks and food were all exceptional. Our server recommended an entree and it was amazing. Italian by Night is a world class restaurant.
