Decor could use some improvement. Other than that, the service and food were wonderful.

Not a Japanese owner restaurant. Bad service. Food not matched with the price they charged. Bad management. Not worth.

Prix Fixe 5 course menu for Seattle Restaurant Week. Great vibe and atmosphere. Fancy. Good dinnerware and plating. Wonderfully friendly service. You're paying for atmosphere, which is fine. None of our meats came with accompanying salts that were listed on the normal menu. We asked for salt on the side, otherwise it would've been pretty bland. We didn't get one of our courses, two Kamameshi and a Lemon Yuzu Udon, and asked about it before dessert. Apparently, it was delivered to the wrong table and we'd have to wait another 30 minutes. We opted to not wait because it was already past 10pm. They took a small amount off the bill; we still felt a little jipped and pretty disappointed about the situation. This 3-star rating is appropriate, having missed an important component to help round out the meal and 1/5 of our menu. And the salt. We were also thirsty and didn't have water for about 20% of our meal. I expected a better experience. Maybe because it was near closing time, but would be a 5-star experience with a little more attention to detail.

Not much of a high end restaurant goer. Had higher expectations as most I’d believe would for the price you pay. We payed around $400. The food was fine; you’re getting quality cut wagyu. But the order in which the selections came out were what killed the experience for us. First, there was no 8-course experience for what we assumed we put in a reservation for. They shared they no longer do that but may bring it back in the near future. We order a variety of tasters, one being a rice dish, which came out at the end. Quite a filler that we may have preferred alongside the meats being cooked. Same with some mushrooms that ended up finishing late which we felt would have gone well with the meats. Overall, subpar for us but I’m sure it’s for others with a more sophisticated palate.

Our main waiter was not attentive, did not give a good explanation of the menu and was too busy overall. For the price of this meal we expected more.

We came here for my husband’s birthday and it was an awesome and unique experience. Shoutout to Jim and the server who cooked our food. They were knowledgeable, professional and very personable. More on the pricier side for sure, but very well worth it if you’re looking to spend for an occasion or special event. The ambience, service, and food were 10/10.
