At the Island Way Grill, we're all about fresh fish. Our own boats make daily trips to the middle grounds to bring back fresh tuna, mahi, snapper and other local varieties. No long-line fish here-just hook, rod, and reel. If it's any fresher, it is still in the gulf. Most of our cooking revolves around our oak and citrus fired open pit, which sears at an extremely high temperature and adds a delicious smokiness to everything grilled. You'll find an abundance of fresh herbs and only the best quality seasonings. Fresh vegetables are used throughout our menu, and all soups and sauces are hand-prepared. We are also proud to provide an excellent selection of the worlds best oysters flown in fresh for your enjoyment. In addition to our menu, our chefs prepare a varied assortment of daily specials that always add an element of interest to our every-day offerings.

We arrived at 8 for an 8 pm reservation. We were told that it would be 25 minutes to be seated . The lobby was mobbed with other people waiting . They said we could be seated immediately if we would move outside on the deck . We agreed . It took 10 minutes for anyone to come to the table . He brought 3 waters . He proceeded to tell us that the were out of 3 fresh fishes on the menu . My wife asked if they still had hogfish . He took our drink orders and said he would check with the kitchen . 10 more minutes passed . We could see the waiter moving around but he never returned to the table with the drinks or the answer about the hogfish . We decided to leave and cut our losses . It was Christmas Eve and we had no confidence in anything there at this point . We told the waiter we were leaving . His indifference was evident . We have had pretty good experience here in the past . This was just plain awful service and management .

We went for Christmas eve dinner, had martinis at bar first, ou table was ready exactly when we were, we ordered a few appetizers as our meal they were outstanding.

We had a party of 4 for Girls Christmas Brunch. 2 had been before and 2 it was our first visit for Sunday Brunch. The ambiance was great as the Christmas decor was beautiful, there was a girl singing live Christmas music and they Grinch was there for photos and visiting the tables. The food was outstanding and the selection was perfect! We sat outside which was beautiful but a bit chilly until the sun reached us more. The espresso martinis were lovely as always and the service was wonderful! We can’t wait to go back!

Great food and service. We didn’t like the 25 minute wait past our reservation time, but we weren’t in any hurry. Our only wish was that there’d be an egg white option at the omelette station. Buffet was great and the special offer items were an added touch.

We had a really good server. He was nice and on top of our table. Unfortunately, the food was just decent. One meal was over cooked and sent back. It did not return until the entire table was done eating and then it was undercooked.

First time at Island Way Grill and it was wonderful. Service was excellent and food was amazing. Great view of the water. Will definitely be going back.
