   Food was quite good. Service was rushed and an appetizer order was missed. Server wanted to clear plates even as we were still eating from them. Overall, although we had a 7:30 reservation, the impression given was that we needed to rush to dine.

   Our experience was wonderful. We had great service and the food was delicious—fresh and flavorful. The place was smaller than I expected, the seating all along 2 narrow walls. So it wasn’t quiet; it was a little hard to hear each other. But the food and service was excellent.

   The food was ok. We were there 50 minutes and asked to leave because others were waiting for a table. Totally inappropriate. Sent a note to restaurant and never heard back.

   The food and service was outstanding. The curb appeal of the restaurant is amazing with the red awning and lighting at night but the interior ambiance does not share the same warmth.

   We had problems finding parking and starting our order, and the staff were so understanding and patient. They didn't rush us at all. The food was all delicious, especially the appetizer Italian sausage. We had a lovely evening there!

   I made a reservation for 7 people at Isabella on a Saturday night for my son's 18th birthday celebration. We had a wonderful time. The restaurant was bustling which we enjoy, and it felt warm and inviting on a chilly November evening. We were seated and received an introduction to our waitstaff promptly. Drinks followed very soon after. The food coming out of kitchen looked and smelled amazing. My table ordered a few appetizers consisting of scallops and fried calamari. I have to say the entire table raved over the scallops and how perfectly they were seared. We were talking about them the next morning! They tasted sweet and probably the best I have had in a while (I eat them frequently). The fried calamari was fresh, crispy and light (not oily). Needless to say, there were no leftovers from the appetizers. Our entrees arrived in a well-timed manner after the appetizers were cleared and they were outstanding. I ordered the chicken marsala and it was delicious. Everything was flavorful and cooked perfected. My friend across from me ordered the chicken piccata and was also extremely satisfied. My son ordered the tagliatelle bolognese and he was very happy about it. I can't recall what everyone else further down the table had, but the entire table was all smiles. Portions were decent size, we all took food home for lunch the next day. We were offered dessert but everyone was too full! Next time I will be trying dessert for sure. I paid the check for the entire table as it was my son's birthday - and I have to say for the high-quality experience, food, and service that we received the check was not as large as I anticipated (especially as this was Boston and again, a party of 7). I can't wait to go back and sample more of this menu. I also loved the cozy atmosphere. Thank you Isabella for a great night! A dinner my son will remember.
