   Neighborhood gem. Loved ambiance. Corner seating for two not in view of fireplace. Waitstaff not spot-on. After food presented, no spoon for soup appetizer. No check-in at our table by waiter. Had to flag to be attended. Irrespective of poor service, as we were non drinkers and low tab, left generous 25% tip. I will attempt a booking again in spring and choose outside seating.

   The food was really good. We did the family table tasting menu, and everything they brought out was delicious. I really liked the oysters. They brought out more dishes than was on the menu. Each of the main dishes had a pre-dish attached to it, including dessert. The service was great; our waitress was super helpful and friendly. The ambiance was very romantic, and the dining area was fairly quiet and calm, so you don't feel the need to shout and can enjoy a nice, relaxing meal with somebody. We enjoyed sitting near the fireplace. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would go there again. One last thing, the tasting menu was reasonably priced with the amount and quality of food you're getting.

   Delicious family style meal, top quality ingredients and cooking, relaxed atmosphere. Our kind of place. Highly recommend and will return.

   Brunch was incredible! We were seated near the fire place…perfect for a chilly winter’s day! The olive oil fried eggs with smashed potatoes and farm salad were absolutely fantastic…savory yet light! We also had the bread pudding French toast which were light and sweet…heavenly and felt more like a dessert! Loved it all and consistently a favorite of mine in the city! Cannot wait to return :)

   We visited for our 16th wedding anniversary and the overall experience felt a bit disappointing. We were served a wine that had turned, service felt spotty (my wife was never asked if she wanted another glass of wine), and we generally felt a bit rushed - courses came out in quick succession, so we never had a sense of anticipation, which is often one of the best parts of a fine meal. The bison, lastly, was tough, fatty, and sinewy - exhausting to chew through and we abandoned it halfway through the course because it was unpleasant to eat. The meal, all told, cost over $400, and for that price point, both service and food needed to be significantly better. On the positives, when we did interact with staff, they were lovely and the setting was beautiful and romantic. It’s a shame the rest of the experience did not quite match it.

    We had an ok experience. We went for NYE and thought the food was meh. We asked to speak to their sommelier to order a bottle and the waitress told us they were busy and she would give us a suggestion instead. It was clear she was unfamiliar with the options. When we asked what was in a dish, we had three separate waiters tell us they didn’t know. It was a temporary menu so it’s understandable but definitely lead to awkward moments. The staff was not overly friendly so it didn’t feel very welcoming. Overall, probably would skip this place next time.
