   I visited Inamo with my two siblings, hoping for a great meal to start our New Year’s Eve celebrations. Unfortunately, it turned out to be an incredibly disappointing experience. We were seated and placed our order, but things quickly went wrong. Food started arriving within two minutes—before our drinks, which took 15 minutes to come (1 cocktail and 2 mocktails). The rushed food service felt chaotic, and most of the dishes were lukewarm. We waited over an hour for four items (miso soup, rice, vegetarian rolls, and chicken rolls). After finally asking about them, they were served immediately, which made it clear they had been ready but forgotten. To make matters worse, the vegetarian rolls were served on the same plate as the chicken rolls with one soy sauce to share—completely unacceptable. My miso soup never arrived, and when I asked the waitress to remove it from the bill, she refused. I paid £135 for what was hands down the worst meal I’ve had in years. I didn’t ask to remove the service charge because I don’t believe all staff should be punished, but I was so sad and disappointed that I brought my siblings to such a disastrous meal. It ruined the mood for New Year’s Eve, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Avoid Inamo if you value your time, money, and dining experience.

   We walked through covent garden and were allready disappointed when we arrived. A dodgy alley with dumpsters outside, such a contrast to the beautiful streets in the neighborhood. Inside the acoustics were very poor, so we could hardly have a normal conversation with six people. The interior felt cheep and lighting was poor. The food was not to our liking. Sushi were tasteless and some of the warm dishes were luke warm/too cold. Our kids who normally love sushi did not even finish their plates. The interactive tables were the highlight of the evening, but did not compensate for the poor atmosphere and food. We booked the all you can eat, but we're instructed to order from the a la carte. Then both were put on the bill, resulting in an enormous bill. This was corrected by the staff correctly. We would not recommend this place.

   Paid £29 for 4 tapas that were incredibly small, plenty of errors made through their table ordering system, and the service felt like they were rushing us out the door

   It just got progressively worst. As I came in, I gave my reservation details, but the 2 girls at the front desk proceeded to ignore me until they finished their conversation, and then they took me to the table. We booked for the brunch, unlimited wine/food for 1 hour and a half. Even though the food came steadily at the beginning and they would explain what the dishes were, but as it got busy, when we order the second round (3 dishes per person per round) we got told that we had to leave in 10 minutes even though we were still waiting for food. In fact 2 dishes came by the time we had the bill in our hands already. In regards to the wine, not even once we were given a top up, even though our glasses were empty more than half of the time we spent there. We even asked for water, and we were given a bottle but no glasses. This brunch is sold as “worth a £120 per person if order individually” but me and my friends end up having only 1 glass of wine each and about 3-4 dishes per head, as again half of our order came as they were asking to leave the table. It definitely didn’t feel like we had unlimited drinks or food, and none of us left feeling full. Wouldn’t come back and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

    We booked a slot at 5:30pm, and listed needing a child seat ( so would have children). Turned up at 5:25pm, and sat down, to be then told we had 4 minutes to choose children's options as that menu was being closed for the day. Surely it would have made sense to tell in us to book an earlier slot. Tried to submit the children's meals for the table input to stop working for us and the waitress. The manager had to approve the order. It was very hap-hazard way of ordering food What did come was either cold (tempura), expensive, or not very nice. Children's meal of noodles was sloppy, and the ice-cream pudding was frozen, melted and re-frozen - with those large ice crystals that form making it nasty. The total for 2 adults and 2 children eating a main meal and 1 drink each, £127. We won't be going there again, and I have to say it's one of the worst meals I've had in a good while. Nope !
