    The food was outstanding, truly delicious. The ambiance had potential, but we were packed in like sardines. This also contributed to an extremely noisy experience; I couldn’t hear my partner across the table and at times couldn’t hear the wait staff. Speaking of, they were not extremely attentive (but it was a busy Friday night). Overall this place has incredible potential based on the food. But the amount of people, noise level, and mediocre service kept this from feeling like an upscale, outstanding dining experience.

    Too noisy and no music Really? No music of any kind? I was like on a football field with too much noise. Food was good but not the best I have eaten in NY. I doubt I will go back again.

    Best Lebanese food we’ve had outside of Middle East. We actually don’t go out to eat Lebanese food because cant find any good places until now. Baba ganoush, kibbeh, tabbouleh, falafel, mouhammara all outstanding but everything else very good too - fattoush, pita bread, mixed meat grill and braised lamb shanks. The specialty cocktail that evening was a Lebanese whiskey sour which was good but too sweet if you are a true whiskey sour fan and waiter said it could not be made more tart as it was batch prepared. Only regret is that we were too full for dessert and I love mouhalabieh so must return! As other reviewers pointed out, it is very loud in the resto
