Since I was 13 years old, I've been in the restaurant industry. I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. My family & I believe that having a successful restaurant is a simple formula - give people what they want: Good Food, Good Service and Good Value. At IL Sorrento, we are embracing old world charm of Southern Italy & bringing it to Westchester County. Our hope is that you will enjoy being at IL Sorrento as much as we will enjoy serving you

    The service was impeccable, the owner or manager greeted us, showed us to our table. Very accommodating with substitutions when asked. Attentive, overall pleased and will go back.

    From the greeting at the front desk to the end of the evening, we had a great experience! Food was great and service was perfect. For a Monday, they were busy. Nice atmosphere! Go and enjoy!

    Beautiful space, well decorated but way too packed with tables and the staff is frantic. Our experience was uncomfortable and stressful as staff was running by us and couldn’t help hitting our table because the space is too crowded. Hopefully they get it together because I have no interest in going back or referring to my friends and family.

    We understand it being a soft opening but service was very slow, long time to get our food and some was overcooked and others were the wrong items. We will try it again once they have been open longer.

    I recently visited a new Italian restaurant, and it was a 10/10 experience! The ambiance was cozy and authentic, and the staff were super friendly. The food was incredible – the steak and pasta were delicious, and the dessert was the perfect finish. Highly recommend this place for an authentic Italian meal!
