Over the last twenty or so years l have been too il solito whenever l have been in Melbourne for pleasure or business The restaurant has never failed to impress and deliver an exceptional dining experience for me it’s a lot like being in Rome, Milan or many other welcoming places off the beaten path. I have recommended it to many friends over time and the feedback has always been excellent

The birthday dinner last night was one of my memorable and happy moments in my life. The service at the Il Solito Posto was attentive and professional. The restaurant served me a special dessert for my 71st birthday. I was so well touched and overwhelmed by their kind thoughts. Thank you so much. I will dine again with my Melbourne family.

Il Solito Posto is one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to. The service was fantastic, the ambience & lighting was perfection & of course the food was absolutely beautiful. Can’t wait to have the squid ink pasta again!!

I have always thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of Il Solito Posto. The food is always fresh , simple and authentic and the service is warm & convivial, without stuffiness. I was proud to take my young niece there for her 1st time. She loved it, as did my husband. We will return again & again. Thank you. Dorville Etheve

Very disappointed as we have been many times before! And we’re always happy! We ordered the smaller meals but they were extremely small. Presentation was very poor! Meals not worth what we paid! We visit Vics in Sunbury and Houdinis in Diggers Rest and their meals are excellent all round! We will not rush back I’m afraid!
