   Reservation was made at least a week prior to arrival. Special request was made for side by side seating and accommodation for a walker. Upon arrival the hostess proceeded to take us to a table for 2 that was small and couldn’t accommodate either seating request made. I made several requests for another table, each of which was met with unflinching distain and a flat NO it could not be done. So with much difficulty I proceeded to try to arrange the small table to work for us. My husband survived a recent stroke and heart attack and required assistance to take pills during eating and manage certain tasks. The lack of empathy and notable distain on the hostess’s face, in addition to her lack of flexibility to help acquire a table that would work to assist us, was very disturbing. Our server was good and easily accommodated special dietary requests. However, the food was less than stellar and our evening outing was completely ruined. As such, we will no longer be returning to Il Corso which had been one of our favorite Palm Springs restaurants. First impressions are important for making a special evening truly special. This experience with the hostess was anything but special and ruined what could have easily been a great experience. As such, i can no longer recommend this eatery.

   Food was awesome, service was lacking. We would have to wait to long to order between Drinks, Appetizer, entre, and desrt.

   Service and food were great. We celebrated my mother in laws 80th birthday and they were very accommodating. Food was flavorful, fresh and portions were just right. We’ll be back.

   A truly beautiful restaurant in the heart of downtown Palm Springs. It is much larger than I expected. Our dirty martinis were perfectly made and in generous glasses. The calamari was light breaded and tasty although the spicy marinara was too strong for my wife’s taste. Her salmon was cooked to perfection and my Cioppino was overall very good but most of my mussels did not open which was not so great. Desert was a chocolate torte which was one of the best restaurant deserts we have ever had. Overall an excellent Valentine’s Day dinner experience.

   We had a very nice dinner her on a very rainy night. Everything about the evening was very night. I prefer sitting in the bar area with the fireplace. Other than that it was a nice evening. I had the pappardelle for dinner which had some fried or toasted prosciutto in it. It wasn’t a necessary ingredient which was hard and sharp and dangerous to eat. Texture of plastic shards. Don’t mean to complain. We enjoyed the evening!

   Il Corso is a staple for me each year when I travel here for work. My team and I had the best time and the food, as always, was incredible.

    This place is consistently excellent. Great food and service. It’s always popular but never too busy to provide a warm welcome and excellent service.
