il Bracco is an upscale Italian restaurant in the heart of Uptown, Houston, located in Post Oak Plaza. Our menu features handmade pastas, fresh salads, hand-cut steaks & seafood, and an extensive yet approachable wine list.

Breads, pasta and dessert are made from scratch, in house daily.

Our dining room is made of intimate booths with a full service bar and cocktail lounge, as well as a quiet patio with an outdoor fire place.

Good food overall. Pasta dishes were a highlight. We were rushed through our dinner at every step. Hurry and order, here comes your next course, and if you’re not looking, I’ll take your wine glass away kind of hurry.

It was ok. It was very noisy compared to past visits and the dress code is not enforced which doesn’t make for an enjoyable dining experience no matter how good the food is. Our waitress didn’t really know the names of the specials. She also forgot one if the desert orders. The food was very good. Excellent portions.

Had the burrata salad and spicy gemelli, really delicious! They had great service, lighting& ambience. I feel a lot of restaurants don’t have the right lighting which can be very off putting. Will be coming back!

We waited 20 minutes before a waiter would come to our table,not a glass of water was being offered to us while waiting.Very disappointed with our experience.
