   Hello, we came here on Friday (Jan 10th) for a double date. When we arrived, we had a 10 minute wait for our table reservation. We were seated in given water, but she did not take our drink orders immediately about 15 minutes later we got our drinks taken. When she took our drink order, we came back and we ordered an appetizer and when the appetizer was served, we were hoping to order our dinner, but the server walked away. About 5 to 10 minutes later another server walked by and we stopped the server and asked them if we could place our dinner order. The server took our order and put it in and delivered our second drinks about 10 minutes later. The other server also brought our food and we had to wait several minutes to ask her to go boxes and then again for our checks. It took two hours to get to eat dinner and get our checks. We barely got any water service during our meal. I’ve been here several times and this was by far the worst service I have had and the food was warm when it came out. We had to ask for water multiple times, ask other servers for help and our server couldn’t even give food recommendations.

   I’m not sure if I’ve ever been to Il Bracco and been seated at my reservation time. It can be very frustrating, especially when you made a reservation to avoid waiting and because of a schedule. Especially for the price, it’d be nice to not have this problem every time. However, I still love Il Bracco, just wanted to point it out.

   I’ve been here several times. The food & service are consistently good BUT the hostess staff cannot figure out how to honor a reservation time. 9/10 times there is a minimum 10-15 min wait onto your reservation time. It’s every time. I’ve waited up to an additional 45 min onto my reservation. Not a walk in. A reservation. I have stopped going but tonight my daughter, visiting from out of town, wanted to go. Again, extra 15 min onto my 5:30 reservation. It’s just rude honestly & the hostesses are not apologetic or aware that guests may have other plans after dinner. It’s really not hard to honor a reservation time - literally every other restaurant can do it.

   Had a longer than expected wait, but was offered drinks from the hostess- which was a really lovely gesture. Once we were seated- all was wonderful.

   Food was excellent. I love the roasted chicken with the white beans. Very tender and delicious. Love all their pastas as well.

   What a great combination of excellent service and delicious food! And unlike a few of the restaurants in Dallas (Hillstone, R&D, Hudson House), they don’t push you out the door when you’ve been there for 1-1/2 hr.

   Today at Il Bracco was fabulous! Four friends enjoying a shared lunch. We had 2 appetizers (now my 2 most favorite) facaccia with whipped ricotta and the meatballs are both stand outs! Ancient Grain salad and the chopped salad are at the top of the salads list. And we had the mushroom pasta which is excellent. We came around 2:30 for a late lunch , very relaxed. Noise level was much better than when you go on a crowded weekend night. But always go. One of my friends thinks it’s better than Lucia’s, that speaks accolades to me. Great place to dine , great location!

   Firstly, the Server was extremely friendly and professional. Unfortunately, our pasta main courses arrived shortly after our salads. I did ask the Server to take them back and keep them warm. My error. Pasta just does not keep well in a holding cabinet and it had absorbed the moisture from the sauce and became gummy and sticky. Also, we never received our side. I have been to this restaurant several times and would not hesitate to return.
