   Very, very sadly, III Forks converted their steaks and entree servings to ala carte a few weeks ago. In addition to everything that makes III Forks wonderful, the one thing that has always made it stand out from every other steak house is the inclusion of snow peas, mashed potatos and creamed corn with every steak. Now that they have stopped that long-standing tradition, they are simply apples to apples with all other ala carte steak houses. I can only guess that the decision was made by corporate in order to increase the bottom line. Sadly, this change ends up making them just like everyone else. And oddly, the change was made after this particular location had become packed almost every night of the week. It’s so surprising to see ownership make a decision that takes away the one thing that made III Forks unique and distinctive in comparison to other steak houses. The in-house management (Lana and the others) are still fantastic and unmatched. Sadly, I can’t say the same for the accountant/owners pulling the strings at the corporate level. I sincerely hope they will rethink this decision and reclaim the main thing that made III Forks distinctive and memorable.

   I would not have celebrated my 70th birthday with friends and family anywhere else - it was a perfect and loving night capitolized by the great food and the service that went with it.

   The steak was delicious. It was our first time back since they moved to the Old Silver Fox location. The transition was not good so we found other restaurants and stuck with them. But recently we heard from friends that it was good so we thought we’d give it another chance. We’re so glad we did!

   I grew up working class so I am usually wowed by any and all fine dining. III Forks was very disappointing. I order onion rings. “We’re out of onion rings.” I order Mushroom burger. “We’re out of that.” I wanted to put the menu down and ask what they actually have available. My wife’s filet mignon was overcooked. My (regular) burger was overcooked. The lobster Mac and cheese had four tiny slivers of lobster. Very disappointing compared to Eddie V’s or Perry’s. So you saved $4 on lobster and lost me as a customer. You should have just admitted you were out of lobster too.

   This is a new location for us, we were used to their previous location. Everything was wonderful but we miss their previous location.
