Join us for a special evening of music and dancing featuring a DJ and a glass of bubbles to ring in the New Year, plus spectacular front-row views of iconic NYE fireworks off Wailea Beach. Enjoy a premium view of the fireworks plus service with our VIP Lounge Seating. Each table seats up to (4) guests and has a $200 minimum beverage spend plus applicable tax and gratuity. Tables will be reserved from 10pm to 12:30am. No-shows will be charged $200. Standard bar top seating will be available on a first come, first serve basis to those without a VIP Lounge Seating reservation. *Guests must be at least 21 years of age. In compliance with Maui County Liquor Laws, all dancing must take place in a designated area where no drinks are allowed.

We went for the Christmas Brunch. For $175 per person I expected much more. The quality of food was poor and most items had been sitting for a long time and not fresh. I almost never right a poor review but I would not return even if it was half the price. There are too many other options on the island that have great food and service.

Went understanding it is expensive but felt very poor value for money. Staff courteous but “not on the job”…. Dessert offerings (two tables located distant from each other) very limited and did not include basics such as fruit salad and whipping cream. Similarly the food locations were also distant from each other. I understand it is a temporary location while a Reno is going on but it is def. not an experience I (or our guests) would recommend.

I had high hopes for the Christmas Day Brunch at the Grand Wailea’s Humuhumunukunukuāpua’a, especially given its promotion as an oceanfront event. Unfortunately, what we experienced was nothing short of a bait-and-switch disaster. The hotel oversold the event and moved it into a dingy, walled-off banquet hall with zero ocean views. Instead of the promised stunning setting, we were left staring at a non-working waterfall wall, which was as depressing as it sounds. The food was incredibly disappointing—cold, bland, and served in empty or half-empty trays. The decor was equally sad, with cheap plastic roses in a wine bottle and a solitary pine cone as the extent of the holiday spirit. To make matters worse, the $175 per person price tag didn’t even include mimosas or Bloody Marys—those were an additional $30 each! There was absolutely no prior notice that the venue had changed, so we were stuck with no recourse since every other restaurant on Maui was fully booked for Christmas Day. Our holiday morning was completely ruined. This was nothing more than a money grab, and I strongly advise anyone to stay far away from this event. Total disappointment from start to finish.

Had an incredible experience for Christmas Eve. The wait staff made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Different staff stopped by to check on us and even asked if we liked the bottle of wine, then gave us some insight. Very attentive. Our server was Stephanie and she chatted with us like we were friends. Amazing time!
