Lovely venue with oceanfront dining and live music and dancer. Very expensive for what you get - so definitely a special occasion splurge. $25 drinks. $50 entrees. You’re paying for the location and entertainment. Like a mini-luau. We saw a lot of tables having just drinks and appetizers or desserts. The pork rib appetizer was excellent. The tuna poke was just okay and seemed a little off or slimy. The pizza was so-so for the kids. I had to send back the Hamachi/yellowtail entree because it was 80% bones and no fish, but what fish was there was flavorful and tasty. The mahi daily special was quite good but at $50 for mahi, is should have been! The coconut cake dessert and mai tai were highlights of the meal as was the fresh bread. We enjoyed the experience a lot but do think the food was overpriced.

Beautiful environment- felt like at a luau. You are paying for the location and entertainment. $60 for two (very good) cocktails while we waited for our table. Dinner was slow though - an hour before getting food after ordering. The kids at the table next to us watching videos on full sound in their ipods ruined the experience a bit (even my kids commented on it). Not the restaurant fault but the long delays in service or offering refills was.

Went on New Year’s Day for lunch. They were behind on setting the tables. After waiting a little while - once we were seated, the service and food were very good.

Went on New Year’s Eve at around 5:30pm for drinks and appetizers to watch the sunset and live entertainment as we usually do when coming to Waikiki. Food and drink prices were extremely high. The steak salad dish was very odd. Our waitress agreed with our comments on the above items. She told us she was hoping to be off early to enjoy her new year’s…

We had a fabulous time at House Without a Key! The food and cocktails were fantastic, and the highlight was our server, Mellissa - she was amazing! Just so attentive, perfect and succinct explanations of specials, and friendly. The live music was SO fun and a huge added bonus. We will return someday!

    料理のオーダーから30分くらい経っても出てこなく催促してやっときた。しかしピザその他料理は冷めていて良くなかった。席もギュウギュウで日本の、ビヤガーデンのようで雰囲気も良くない

We were most disappointed, it was our Christmas Day dinner! But just nothing on the menu, no pasta or anything my boys could eat. We ordered pizza and the cheese was really strong and base under cooked! So rather than order more food, we cut our losses and went elsewhere. We mentioned our disappointment to management, but nothing was done except an apology! Also there was no Christmas ambience! When everywhere else on the island had an amazing Christmas spirit! Don't bother, loads of amazing places to eat in Honolulu! You can get their famous Coconut cake at their bakery across the road.

Had an amazing experience at the House Without A Key, right on the ocean! The atmosphere were incredible—nothing beats dining with the sound of the waves and live Hawaiian music in the background. The food was just as impressive. We tried the chicken breast and mahi mahi and both were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The ambiance was relaxed but still stylish, perfect for a sunset dinner. The staff was friendly and attentive, making it a perfect spot for a laid-back but memorable meal. Can’t wait to return!
