   Their menu is seasonal but with some house standard options like the grilled octopus. The cocktails vary as well and match the seasonal concept of the menu. It has a trendy vibe and is great for dinner and drinks with friends, but I would not do a "date night" here if you're looking for a romantic mood. Reservations are needed for the bar area as well as general dining. Price points are good compared to the overall area.

   Four of us each ordered something different, and each was happy. One of us thought her hanger steak was overdone, so quickly our server took it away and the management gave her a salad on the house to eat while the rest of us had our meals and they soon came back with another steak with pink interior totally satisfying my friend. She also thought her Brussels sprouts were undercooked, so we all tasted them, and 1 of us agreed with her, but I liked how they were prepared - not mushy, which the others would have preferred. Our cocktails were very good: the Amaryllis and Poinsettia. We had a burger, hangar steak with fries substituted for the squid ink rice, pollo (chicken) with polenta (very generous serving) and the grouper special with couscous 😋. The service was excellent and very accommodating, with substitutions provided happily. The atmosphere was also very pleasant. The room was provided with noise mitigation features, which is rather uncommon but very effective and appreciated.

   We feel that Horno is one of the most enjoyable restaurants in SF. Fun, vibrant atmosphere. Excellent service and great food. Last night we ate at the bar. Special thanks to Zina for her warm and friendly conversation and advice on food and wine selection!

   Very nice experience. Food was great!!! Felt the wait staff could have been a little friendlier/celebratory - it was my son's 21st birthday. The people at the table next to us, were kind enough to sing! Pls note: I was not expecting the wait staff to sing - just be a little more "HEY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!"

   We were lucky to snag a couple of seats at the bar last night. Always our preference when we can. in any restaurant. We first were greeted by 2 lovely bartenders. They were busy but attentive to any questions or needs. We shared a few dishes--seafood special was amazing--sea bass. Oysters Rockefeller were so good. Just a lovely meal and then a post walk around the plaza to admire the beautiful lights our city puts up every year.

    Very noisy when we were here. Two large parties were dominating the room and it was hard to hear above their chatter.
