   It was very empty when we arrived. It took our server 20 minutes to get our drinks. Once they were dropped off, the server spilt beer all over my pants and the table and walked away. Didn’t even apologize or bring napkins back. I had to walk up to the bar to grab napkins (thankfully the bartender was helpful). Each time we ordered a drink after, we had to wait forever to get it. Our server was just at the back table hanging out with other servers. We got our food and had no silverware so we asked for some. Our server came back without the silverware and told us the manager was rolling silverware for us. We look over and the server and multiple other servers are just talking. It took 15 minutes for the silverware. We also asked for separate bills when we sat down. Our bills arrived and nothing was correct. We didn’t even ask the server to fix them because we knew it would take them 30 minutes to come back. Overall the food was great but the worst service we’ve ever had.

   Our first time there and the food was great!!! The cheese sauce is amazing

   Service was horrible, not enough staff. Two people of our party did not get their meals until after everyone was done eating. No refills on water until we we're finished eating, so we ate dry. Had to reorder our cocktails a few times, before they were brought to us. Not our waitress fault, she was slammed in her area, with no assistance.

   Our waiter was great and attentive. It seemed there was a disconnect from the staff delivering the food to the table and the waiter. We waited almost 45minutes from ordering until we got our food. When we finally did, the food was like warm at best. We asked for one item to be removed as it was an ice cold waffle. All other meals were fine when we boxed it up and took it home to heat up.

   Great happy hour - meeting friend from the UM for drinks. Was promptly served. Good draft beer selection!

   Been here before but tonight was awful. Restaurant wasn’t busy. Took almost an hour to get food. Burgers were cold and meat was almost raw. Manager did take them off the bill and offered to make more, but who has like 3 hours for dinner! Will stick to going to Livonia location.

    While my party knew HopCat had an extended wait time, we ended up waiting a total of 85 minutes for our food. Not only was our food relatively average for HopCat standards, but also cold. For one of our party members, their lemon slice included with their fish was about as warm as the fish itself; my chicken had waited so long it was dry by the time I had it. Our service, in contrast, was acceptable, with little to comment on. Overall a very disappointing experience for a large party when we've had good small-table experiences before.
