Hochi Mama was the God Mother of all aspiring street artists and rappers in the early nineties. An immigrant in the big city, she hosted underground art shows along with rap battles for the rejects; a place where you could just be at home, but with family. The whole crew was always welcome, the more the merrier, and she was well renowned for creating innovative dishes using the original famous dishes from her home country, and plenty of booze, in her spacious and homey warehouse.

This cheeky, vibrant and buzzing Vietnamese Fusion venue is one for your to-do list. Boasting a killer menu and a super cool vibe, this place is known for a cocktail, feast or an intimate date night.

Food too strong flavoured and saltish. No recommendations for accompanying side dishes like rice. Too dark and loud ambience then the previous venue. Service was good.

Had a belated birthday dinner there and our waitress was full of attitude and kept hurrying us up, which dented the whole experience. I did give this feedback to the host (a different person) in the end and she was lovely and took the feedback really well and apologised. It would be great to be able to relax and enjoy a birthday dinner (or any dinner) with friends next time, without being rushed and being rude to. Perhaps seating times could be a bit longer, we would have definitely ordered more if we weren’t asked to leave, so we had to go for dessert somewhere else.

We had a work Christmas dinner booked for 7:45pm. Because of the size of our group it was a pre-paid set menu, so there was no need to order when we arrived. However our food didn't arrive until 8:45pm... Safe to say we were starving. Other than the delay, the food was great, drinks were delicious and overall a really good spot.
