Had the Zama curry night on a Friday Was ok, nothing special or memorable tbh. Obviously it’s nowhere near what you can get elsewhere. Very limited choice of curry’s Chicken in curry’s a bit tough. Frozen? Reheated in microwave? Hmm Not sure we’ll be rushing back now that everything’s reopened as normal. Love Hixon Green tho, just not enamoured with Zama

We sat upstairs in comfortable chairs and although there were other diners around us, it was nice and quiet and we didn't have to shout to hold a conversation. The mashed avocado was very tasty. Service was good.

No vegan cakes. Very limited vegan options for food. Very disappointing as always used to have a great selection of vegan cakes!

Was recommended this restaurant but when we arrived we were disappointed to see it was a different menu for the evenings. This isn't made very clear on the website. Also, the restaurant was empty but we had about 5 different waiters/waitresses serving us. It's always nice to have one or two at the most, but maybe that's just me. They only gave us one menu, even though there were two of us. At one point there was a drilling noise coming from the kitchen which wasn't ideal for about 15 minutes or so. Also I was disappointed not to see more vegetarian/vegan options on the menu, especially in Brighton. Overall it wasn't a bad experience but after so many people had recommended it to me, I guess I expected more.

Nice restaurant/cafe but service wasn’t great from start to finish. No sugar with hot drinks so had to get up and ask. Had to wait for cutlery No salt and pepper etc Wrong food was brought out. Drinks - 2 Pineapple juices came out instead of 1 orange juice and the waitress wouldn’t have it that they were both pineapple! The waitress who served our food was very apologetic re the wrong food.
