The food at Himalayan Sono was a fantastic blend of Nepalese and Indian flavors. The momos were perfectly steamed with a flavorful filling, while the chicken curry had just the right amount of spice. The naan was fresh and fluffy, and the dal bhat felt like true comfort food. Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere made it a great dining experience. Highly recommend! Love the live music.

Had the pleasure of dining at Himalaya Sono and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting and cozy, making it the perfect spot for an amazing fine dining experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our experience was top-notch. Now, let's talk about the food – absolutely delicious! I tried the Beef Chili/Lasooni Govi/Veg Pakoda for appetizers and it was all bursting with flavor. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the presentation was stunning. For my main dish I tried the Nepali Thali/Lamb Makhini with Garlic Naan. OMG!!! SO TASTY!!! The Naan is to die for!!! Airy and fluffy so delicious. I love the fact that everything is homemade and you get to adjust your spice levels. Depending on my mood I prefer no spice or mild/medium. Himalaya Sono has quickly become one of my favorite spots in town. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. If you're looking for great food and a warm atmosphere, this is the place to be! Love the live music as well!!

Himalaya Sono isn’t just a place to eat — it’s a whole trip to the Himalayas. The moment you walk in, you’re hit with the smell of spices, the sound of Himalaya music, and the decorations of prayer flags, wooden masks, beautiful paintings, and cool artifacts from Nepal and Tibet. The menu is packed with authentic dishes like momos, chilis, and dal bhat, not to mention so many varieties of curries that go perfectly well with freshly made nans. The staff, dressed in traditional outfits, are super friendly and attentive. Live music and the occasional cultural dance performance add to the vibe, making it feel like you're at a lively Himalayan festival. It’s more than just dinner — it’s an experience. If you’re looking for a night of amazing food, soulful music, and a taste of Himalayan culture, Himalaya Sono is the spot. No passport needed.
