Located in the historic Franklin Building, High Street is a modern American eatery and bar that celebrates the essence of local grains.     In celebration of spring on the horizon and the Philadelphia flower show, we we invite you to Edible Blooms — an experiential evening of edible beauty, where decor becomes food and food becomes decor. With a lush, stunning tablescape by Citrine , a menu inspired by just that from Chef Christina, and an optional beverage pairing (N/A available) cheers with neighbors as you graze on the tablescape and make your way through a bounty of flavors inspired by the setting. Menu highlights include saffron risotto with olive oil poached shrimp, hibiscus-rose semifreddo and more. Tickets are $105 per person, with an optional beverage pairing for an additional $45. Parties will be seated at one communal table. Seatings are available March 7 & March 8, both nights at 7PM.

    In honor of women's history month, we're hosting Martha Stoumen, the visionary behind her eponymous Martha Stoumen Wines who blazed trails to redefine the art of natural wine. After years of apprenticing around the globe, she returned to California where she has been committed to sustainable farming and minimal intervention winemaking. She not only has produced exceptional wines which have been getting rave reviews, but has also championed a culture of patience and respect for nature. $55 per person includes three tastes of some of Martha's favorites—Vermentino, Nero d'Avola, and Benchmark Red, a co-ferment of red and white varietals— along with pizza and snacks from the kitchen. Enjoy a few bites and her delicious wines and maybe meet with Martha herself!

    Our dishes turned out to be quite different than we had anticipated but all were very good. The restaurant is rather expensive and what always gets me is that they charge $6 for one slice of bread and butter. Service was good. However the sommelier tried to pass off wine whose vintage was different than what was listed on the menu. But it turned out to be a very nice wine. Noise levels varied, sometimes quite loud and then the noise would recede.

    Two of us got the lamb dish. It was flavorful but mostly fat. We complained and chef sent us two new pieces, which was very nice, but again just a tiny morsel of meat amongst the fat. The third person ordered chicken and it was mostly bone and not a lot of meat. Unfortunately we were all disappointed. High Street was always good so we were surprised.

    Grear service and great food and drink as always. Incredibly reliable 5/5 restaurant and we love when they hold pop ups in the back bar!

    Delicious food and amazing service. They really had some cute Valentine’s Day specials. We had the Wagyu steak for two with a chopped brussels sprout salad and mashed cauliflower.

    Scallops were flavorful and expertly prepared. Pasta is also delicious. The lemon olive oil cake is a treat.

    We had a quiet table and the food was fine. I was a little disappointed in the small side salad - it was overdressed. I probably should have asked for the dressing on the side.

    Dined Sunday at FIM SUM BRUNCH. Unique menu, ie Collard Greens stuffed Eggroll, and service each menu item was fine but seemed a bit rushed as too many courses served quickly together. But eventually caught up. Very reasonable price.
