HiFalutin is a family dream come true...Back in 1986, as we were creating a name for "Baggin's" (our gourmet sandwich shops), we came across the word "HiFalutin". The name seemed to encompass another dream that we had for establishing a unique, western-like restaurant- one that would be "a cut above" the rest. As that name danced in our heads for 16 years...it has inspired and shaped the creation we now share with you - "HiFalutin:". We hope you will enjoy "our dream" as much as we have enjoyed making it come true. We are a family - related by love, and a passion for great food and entertainment. Our hope is that you will have a "HiFalutin" experience as you kick back, relax...and enjoy the flavors of our favorite family

                                                                  Two of us ordered the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables. We loved it! Vegetables were NOT overcooked (common in "mixed vegetables" sides), the meatloaf was delicious (sauce on top made the dish), and the mashed potatoes were incredible - not sure if it was due to special spices, or an additional item, like parsnips added, but super flavorful and tasty. My other guest had the green chile chicken tortilla soup - Broth was very authentic and there was tons of chicken. He really enjoyed it. Ambiance is western and very comfortable. Would definitely go again!

                                                                  As always, the Cedar Plank Salmon and Ribs are worth the visit and by far the best I’ve been able to find nationwide. But, I forgot how special the Baked Potato is with its crispy skin. One of Tucson’s hidden gems.

                                                                  We had previously dined at Hifalutin on Valentine's Day 2024. We had such a good experience, we decided to return for dinner on New Year's Eve. Typically, on major holidays, we find that restaurants are very busy and we lower our expectations somewhat. Hifalutin does not disappoint. All was fantastic: the charming ambiance; the food was awesome and served piping hot; our server, Jessica, was excellent...a true professional who really enjoys her job and ensures her guests have a great experience. We will most definitely return. Only next time, we won't wait so long! :)
