   The food at Hestia is amazing. The ambiance is usually amazing. It’s a beautiful place and the waiters/staff are always so nice. However, it’s a hit or miss when it comes to the dining experience. I rarely leave reviews but need to this time. We sat in the main dining room and my husband waited 47 minutes to get a glass of wine. The rest of the follow up drinks were very slow to come as well. I flagged down one of the management team and told them he still didn’t have his drink after 45 min. and he left to look into it and it took 10 more minutes and then when it came out- they had under poured it. He placed my wine next to his, he definitely was under poured. We immediately ordered our second glasses and that glass looked more normal. Our very expensive steaks came out and I had to go to the hostess stand or asks for knives bc we only had forks and I couldn’t find a waiter to help me. My son had sushi as an entree and it didn’t come out until everyone was finished with their main courses. By then he had picked at our plates for so long he was no longer hungry. They did comp his sushi roll- which was nice. My impression is that the bar and waitstaff was very short staffed. They had sat up a bunch of extra little tables - that we were sat at, to increase their holiday volume- which they obviously weren’t staffed to handle. I don’t think we’ll be back. I’ve had a couple misses with them and at that price point. There are other places in town.

While we weren't experiencing staffing issues that evening, it was an off night for one of our newer servers. We’ve since used your feedback to sit down with her and discuss areas for improvement. We did address the sushi issue for you, but I regret that we didn’t do enough to fully make things right and regain your trust. We genuinely value feedback from our guests as it helps us avoid repeating mistakes and continually improve. We hope you won’t let this one experience discourage you from returning.    Great vibe, food, and service. All the staff play their role in making it a premium restaurant in south Charlotte.

   Wonderful enjoyed a meal with family, and did the experience which was wonderful. Beautiful view and everyone should experience this spot

   Toni was a phenomenal server. Food was excellent. Love the atmosphere and energy at night. I would definitely increase the number heat lamps outside.

   I went to Hestia on a Saturday night. It’s on the 16th floor and when you walk in the mood is set. Think upscale and classy. The decor is nice, excellent ambiance and dress to impress. The food was amazing. We had the ribeye fried rice, salmon, short rib potstickers, truffle Mac, waygu experience and every single food item was a 10. The drinks were nice but standard, nothing extra special here. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the service was ok but we definitely felt rushed by our server. This was our first time there and when we inquired about specialty recommendations he ran thru the whole menu quickly and left; didn’t really explain anything. Other than that, we had an amazing experience and would come back again. Reservations are absolutely recommended because this place gets busy.

   There was one rude bartender and she shouldn’t be hard to miss because she doesn’t hide it. Otherwise this place was awesome.

   The restaurant was beautiful and I enjoyed the curry crab dip. The wagyu fried rice was also fantastic as well as the raw salmon. The salmon entree could’ve had more sauce. The atmosphere was nice.
