   When we walked through the door, there were glass cabinets of different alcohol bottles. We were greeted right away and taken to our seats. They used an iPad for our menu. The music is a bit louder. They use lamps for better lighting. A waitress came to take our order and we ordered the appies and main course from the dine out menu and I asked her if there were nuts in any of the dishes because I am severely allergic. She kindly said she will go check. She left to check and then a few minutes later, one of our appies was brought to our table without even confirming our order. We were still waiting for our waitress to come back to confirm so they took the food away. A few minutes later our waitress came back and told me which dishes had nuts. Then we finalized our order. The appies arrived together and they were yummy, we had the prawns and the fried chicken. My main dish, crab meat and prawns pasta dish arrived next and we waited about 10 minutes for my partners main dish. Why did they not come together? The food was lukewarm. They were busy so it was hard to get a waitress to even check on the dish. We waved or said excuse me a few times when they walked by but they did not hear us. The cheesecake was still a bit frozen but the tiramisu was delicious with tapioca. The restaurant is quite cold too because it is concrete flooring. Overall, it was just okay.

   A great place, nice to have an upscale vibe place in Richmond. Will definitely check out the Kits location. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the ambiance was great.

   Waitresses were not attentive, did not even come and ask how the food was despite the restaurant being almost empty. Food was mediocre to say the least as it was clearly obvious that the beef patty omurice was just fried rice with a black pepper cream sauce with FROZEN beef patty (extremely obvious as the taste was bland and the texture was quite obvious) and they blatantly charged 24 dollars for that. Would not recommend and don’t see this place being open for too long.

   My first experience with Hestia. I went for lunch with friends; easy and ample parking very near entry to restaurant; upscale, quality feel to restaurant; friendly, attentive and accommodating service; FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! I believe the price point is more than worth it for the high quality food, experience and service! I believe Hestia was a very successful 'experiment' and I am eager to go back.

   It's a causal dining setting while the quality of food is on par with some of the higher end restaurants. The staffs are all friendly and make you feel comfortable. The owners/managers were super helpful and make you feel very welcome.

    Food was good but drinks were not. Food took a really long time to arrive and the restaurant was out of half the items on the menu
