    The waitress was amazing. Just enough checking in to be helpful but not intrusive. The short ribs were to die for! The tamarind cocktail was perfect! Highly recommend

    Loved the menu and variety of choices. Specialty cocktails were fun and delicious. Roasted cauliflower was very good! Service was slow and scattered on this busy night.

    Fun, delicious, great service and always the food is great. Went for my wife’s birthday and they made it special as if we were the only ones dining. See you again soon! Long live Helen’s!

    I haven’t been to this restaurant in forever and it was as good as I remember it. Plus we enjoyed the lingering holiday decorations which were super fun!

    We had a reservation for three people at 5:30, so were the 1st table to be seated! We enjoyed a leisurely dinner with a fabulous waitress who took care of anything we needed and made good suggestions for our meals!

    Helen’s is such a treat! Fun, kitschy decor and incredible food. Such a gem in RVA. Can be pricey if you do it up like we did but it’s worth it.

    We arrived on time for our 8pm reservation. It was crowded and we had to wait no more than 10 minutes to be seated. Once seated it took our sever a couple of minutes to take our drink order. The food, drinks and ambience was perfect. The Christmas decorations and Christmas cocktails were amazing. Helen’s definitely is top notch with service, food and cocktails.
