   Amazing experience at Heck’s per usual despite having a long wait for a server. Must have been a miscommunication between hostess and servers in the business of brunch starting so we sat for about 30 minutes before having to ask for someone to come around. Our server was apologetic and incredibly attentive afterwards and even brought over a free dessert at the end, I believe their name was Angel but I could be wrong. Mistakes happen - we had an amazing brunch. Great service, great food, lovely space ◡̈

   Always my favorite spot in Ohio City. Lisselle (not sure if I got her name correct) was amazing. Gracious, attentive, and so helpful. Thank you

   Heck’s in Ohio City offers a cozy, historic setting with a lively atmosphere—perhaps a bit too vibrant. The noise level made conversation difficult, which detracted from the overall experience. The food was a mix of highs and lows. The burger was well-executed, flavorful, and lived up to its reputation. However, the salmon was overcooked, leaving it dry and lacking the tenderness expected. On the bright side, the service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and efficient. While Heck’s has potential, the inconsistency in the food and the overwhelming noise make it a place to visit with tempered expectations.

   The food was absolutely fantastic and I love the milkshakes. The atmosphere was very nice as well as everyone was very attentive to our details.

   The building itself is more impressive than the food. French onion soup was great. Entrees were not worth the price. Milkshakes tasted like peanut butter flavored milk with chunks of peanut butter. little to no ice cream. Food was hot and came out in a timely manner. Server was slow and had no personality. Then left my debit card sitting on the bar on the check tray unattended while she went to clear glasses off of another table. will not be back

   I generally have always enjoyed Heck's of Ohio City. Our group of four had a nice table very near the spiral staircase that felt very much as if we were in our own space. Our server Angel was uniquely pleasant and very accommodating. Hands down, she made up for the handful of misses in other categories. Appetizers were OK but it must be mentioned that our order of chicken meatballs were a wee overdone. All of us had burgers but each of us found them to all be a bit more done than requested. Nonetheless, enjoyable but for this the evening Heck's lost points for food quality and value. Desserts were ok but the flourless chocolate cake was really more like fudge than we expected. Heck's is still a good spot in this post-pandemic restaurant age. We will go again.
