   I went after reading several good reviews however my experience was far from pleasant. I ordered two starters neither of which tasted fresh or value for money, the portion size was preposterous. For the mains, we ordered lobster which left such a bad taste in my mouth that I felt sick after eating it. It was badly seasoned and not at all fresh. I am not someone who leaves bad reviews but this particular dinner prompted me to do so as soon as I returned home.

   Very good. Food and service were very good. Excellent wine if a little expensive. Overall very good for a special night out but pricey.

   What a fantastic experience. From Being created at main lobby to getting great service from the barman and all the staff. We had the January special and I have to say it’s a great idea to get more people to get out and about. Highly recommend

   Absolutely stunning restaurant. Gorgeous setting, great service and wonderful food. We had the January Special (rump steak and a side for €23) which we thought was great value for money. The steak was perfectly cooked and the beef dripping chips were incredible (I'd return just for these!) I would absolutely recommend and will definitely return if I'm ever visiting Dublin again.

   The food was only ok. The crab on toast starter was tasteless and the toast was so hard it could break your teeth. When we said that to the waiter, there was no reaction. Steak was ok but rubbery. Overall, it wasn’t worth the price and we wouldn’t go back.

   In general, everything was good. We were a little bit disappointed about the amount of lemon in everything. The garlic mushrooms for example, which I had dreamed off after last time, were soooo full if lemon, I was quite sad afterwards… But I am sure we will come back again.

   A great experience for New Year’s Eve, great vibe, food and in particular great staff and service! We sat in the bar area and the ambience was great, plus there are still proper tables and booths in bar area - not just stools. I would highly recommend Hawksmoor Dublin!

   Delicious! Good value and really tasty, the service could have been better in the restaurant, we had to prompt a few times for more wine and a forgotten side. The also got the medium and medium rare dishes mixed up so we swapped when already half eaten and realised. But overall delicious and would recommend. The bar staff were brilliant

    We were really looking forward to spending our wedding anniversary dinner here as the menu looked amazing. We were seated in what felt like the lobby area, which was disappointing as it lacked ambience, whilst the main dining area seemed far more lively. Our starters were lovely, so no complaints, but the mains were so so disappointing! We ordered the chateaubriand which we were so looking forward to, we ordered it cooked medium. The meat came out and was completely raw in the middle and well done towards the ends. The sides were tasteless and nothing was included with the steak, which cost €100 on its own. I don’t like giving negative reviews as I never want to contribute to negative business for a restaurant, especially in the current climate. However, given the current cost of living, it’s a lot of money to part with for what we got and I’m sad to say that I won’t be back, really disappointing.
