   This was disappointing and didnt live up to my expectations - beef was delicious but there are better roast dinner offerings in Dublin than this one

   We had the Sunday roast dinner lunch, it was plentiful and tasty. A la carte menu expensive in comparison. Service was pleasant but hit and miss, we found the waiters casual and difficult to get their attention when in the main dining room. Service in the entrance bar area was better.

   We eat here only for a special occasion. The menu is ful of mouthwatering offerings. It is expensive to eat here but it is worth it just once in a while. Excellent service all round. Just visit once and you'll be hooked 💚!

   Overall just ok. Had pretty high expectations. The bar man in the front bar was a delight, very attentive and gave my husband a sample of a house cocktail to drink when he noticed the whiskey we had ordered was out and they had to go to the store to get another bottle. Starters were amazing. Mains not so great… garlic mushrooms were pretty salty and my husbands steak was rare even though he ordered a medium steak. Took ages for the table to be cleaned, we waited 30 minutes after we had finished dinner for someone to come over and clear the table which by then the mood for dessert had left us so we just asked for the cheque and headed home. Average experience but pretty disappointing considering the price.

   The value of money towards the food served wasn’t matched. Definitively better value steak restaurants in Dublin City centre. An experience but wouldn’t be my favourite,

    We were surprised at how small our mains were so ordering sides is a must! I think this should be recommended by the waiter when ordering as we had to order sides after our mains arrived! Apple pie was the best I’ve ever had
