   Fantastic atmosphere food was delicious we had set lunch and it was great value and the steak superb.

   Unfortunately the restaurant was overbooked, we had to wait 10 minutes downstairs to even get in the bar, then nearly an hour in the bar before getting our pre reserved table. The manager came and apologised and comp’d a bottle of wine which made a huge difference to our evening so we still love Hawksmoor despite it being overbooked

   Food wad excellent - staff very attentive and pleasant. There were two large groups in the restaurant that did not appear to be eating but had quite a few bottles of wine on their tables. This was at approximately 5:30. Both parties were extremely loud and boisterous making it hard to hear each other from across our table. Made the experience less than enjoyable.

   My Husband and I visited Hawkesmoor Air Street for first time today . The Service by Stephen was superb and he made the whole visit an excellent experience. The steaks took a little while to arrive but we were kept informed and when they did WOW !!!! Delicious and surpassed our expectations. Wonderful way to spend an afternoon , until next time .

   I have been to Hawksmoor many times. On this occasion, the food was average and the service was slow - we waited over 20min for a bottle of wine. The wine prices are monstrous for what you’re actually getting.

   Greeted by an excellent front of house person and directed to our table. Larger restaurant than I thought and very noisy (it could do with some soft furnishings or baffles at ceiling level). Lovely staff. Great cocktails and own lable ipa to start. Excellent bone marrow and pawn cocktail starters. So why a 4? Well the sirloin was tougher than I expected and more medium than the rare I had asked for. Sprouts and spinach superb, chips ok. Finished with mince pies and coffee, lovely. Bill was at the high end compared to the quality of the steak. Not bad but not five stars.

   Very busy (in a good way) and service was very attentive- maybe too much so. Food ok my steak wasn’t up to the usual standard of this place. I really should have made more of this whilst I was there.

   I’ve eaten at many steakhouses before, including Hawksmoor. However, if it wasn’t for the BYOB on a Monday I wouldn’t visit another one again. If you want a great steak in London then head to Goodman. Yes, it’s more expensive, however, the service and food is far better, less chewy/cold and you feel you’ve left the meal satisfied rather than exceptionally disappointed. It’s a shame as this restaurant has all the ingredients to be top notch. It just isn’t. This was after having a chateaubriand for 2 plus sides and a starter each. It was cold, chewy, and also oversold the wrong weight, plus we had to go looking for our server on a number of occasions as she went missing. All very underwhelming and exceptionally disappointing.

    This is a Walmart of Steakhouses. A £130 porterhouse that was 50% grizzle. Unfamiliar with London this came very highly rated but if you are a lover of good steakhouses this is not it. Staff was good and did their best but this had a cafeteria like ambiance and was truly disappointing.
