Food was amazing, but service was very slow. They were very busy, but we waited so long just to get water, then cocktails, then when we finally ordered our food was out fast, but then came the LONG wait for after dinner cocktails and dessert. Over all happy, but seemed to take an hour longer than needed, all wait time.

Both my colleagues and I’s steaks were torched. Both requested medium rare for her filet and my ribeye. We got them and they were both barely medium. My ribeye was maybe an inch but the meat looked as if it was picked up from Cisco…the ribeye was barely an inch thick…. I switched to a filet and both our filets did come out quick but I would have expected more attentiveness from the manager regarding a torched steak at a steakhouse. Tuna crudo was ok but nothing to write home about and our cocktails were good but again nothing to rave about. We ordered a desert to go, but when the bill came I wasn’t expecting anything but no discount, no free desert….if I’m spending $234 on a meal at a steak house, I expect more. I’ll hit up Costco and cook my own steak before giving this place another shot.

Place was a welcomed change to what’s here in Bend now. Staff was excellent! Waiter went beyond to assure a positive dinning experience. Menu was quirky but that is to be expected knowing who the owner is. Food was promptly delivered and well prepared. Taste was really good but very rich, entrees really something acidic to counter act the richness. Still, look forward to our next visit at this restaurant to further explore more of the menu. Also, almost forgot the manager took the pineapple upside down cake off the menu? Sitting at our table I heard over the course of the meal several tables around us trying to order this dish? One of the reasons I was looking forward to enjoying at the end of my dinner. Disappointing!

Being in the food service industry and my wife a chef in her own right we RARELY go to really nice restaurants only because 9x out of 10 she can do much better right at home but this place blew our doors off! The aps were amazing, and the dinner over the top. The service was outstanding, the ambiance simply perfect, will be going back again and again.

Our waiter Lance was great but main course food service was a little slow. Our salmon was swimming in sauce which would have been so much better offered on the side. Very noisy which made conversation difficult.

The service and ambiance were superb. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our meals (salmon/chicken). Perhaps the steaks would have been a better choice. Recommend you give it a try and make up your own mind!

Our waiter Hunter forgot this was a Birthday dinner (we clicked it in the reservation and put it in the notes).

We went for our anniversary, and my husband didn’t like his steak or his broccolini because of the high smoked flavor. I got the half chicken marsala, and it was very good and the baked potato was to die for. But although the ambience was great and everything was wonderful, my husband didn’t enjoy his food which made me kind of sad.

Yummy food cooked to perfection! This was a special occasion so we were prepared to pay a small fortune at $300 w/tip for the two of us. I had Filet Minion $67, Pear Arugula Pecan Salad $16 & Green Bean Almondine $13. All were very tasty and the steak was cooked perfectly. My husband had Rib Eye $75 and a loaded baked potato $15. The potato was huge and delicious too! We also ordered a bottle of red wine for $46. (the lowest priced red) Hubby also had a whiskey drink for $14. The ambience is awesome and it was beautifully decorated. The Honky-tonk music added a cowboy flare. The service was wonderful, what one would expect for paying the prices for the meal. They offer so much more than just steak at a much lesser price. The pizza that looked fabulous. We will definitely be back, but will be ordering pizza!
