We were very disappointed in this restaurant overall. Limited parking available. Very loud inside making conversation difficult. Food quality was quite disappointing at any price but was particularly when considering the prices for the entrees and side dishes. Sadly this restaurant was touted in local news to be a high-grade addition to Bend’s food scene. We won’t be back.

This is a hidden gem in Central Oregon. The vibe is amazing, the food is outstanding, the service could not have been better. Our party had the filet, pork butt and chuck roast. For drinks we had the Vina Alberdi Tempernillo and I’m your huckleberry. This is the second time we’ve been here and we’ll certainly be back.

Our experience overall was meh. Waited until after our appetizers were completed to get our drinks. Waiter was pleasant but blamed it on us because we ordered espresso martinis without the hazelnut so they had to make them to order rather than pour from the premade batch. He did comp the appetizers which was nice. My salmon was overcooked and our sweet potato side was cold on the inside. Rigatoni was very good. I wanted to like it more than I did. It’s difficult doing quality control with so many tables.

Hi Kaari, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent dining experience at Hawkeye & Huckleberry Lounge. Our goal is to provide prompt service to all our guests. Sorry to hear your drinks took too long to get to you. Sounds like the food was a miss too unfortunately. Just for future reference we are MORE than happy to refire something if its over/undercooked or not the proper temperature. Hoping you give us another chance, I promise we'll wow you the next time.

No no waited on us and we left. We had a reservation and were given a terrible table that was very tiny. I immediately decided that I would not be ordering a big steak because I certainly would never try to cut into it on a bistro size tiny table. But then, I never had the opportunity to order a steak and attempt that because no one waited on us. Instead, the wait staff milled around on the sidelines talking amongst themselves and drinking coffee. The waitress that I suspected was the one assigned to our area repeatedly ignored our presence while gushingly checking in on the table an elbows reach away from my own. Instead of offering my table any service I watched her as she spent an exorbitant amount of time painstakingly straightening two tables next to us. II will never go back there and if anyone ever asks me about this place I will tell them that it was ridiculous. But I doubt anyone will ever ask me about it because this place is a joke so there is no need to discuss it.

Hello there, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. As the AGM I'd like to apologize for this being your experience at Hawkeye & Huckleberry Lounge. We absolutely pride ourselves on our service, it's something we take seriously and typically do very well. This sounds to me like your table fell through the cracks and someone wasn't aware it was in their section... not an excuse, but most likely the truth. Did you attempt to wave her or any staff member or manager down? I do hope you'll consider giving us another try, don't hesitate to reach out, cheers.
