   What a gem. From the smiles and greetings by everyone staff member we dealt with to the fantastic cocktails and delicious food. Everything was exactly as it should be. The restaurant was super busy the whole time we were there but everyone worked hard and together to keep things moving. Our waitress thanked us for our patience, but nothing to apologize for in our opinion. Food came out piping hot and wonderful. If it took an extra couple of minutes—who cares? We felt very lucky and taken care of. Can’t wait to go back.

   Great restaurant: great food, delightful service & great vibe! Check out the menu on line to make sure it’s for you. The dishes we all had were very tasty, very well prepared. Granted, you have to enjoy southern dishes (e.g.: Fried chicken, ribs, collards, grits), & some dishes were quite spicy! (Even the dish I asked to be prepared as “mild” level was a tad hot for me…but it was still lovely, & I know I’m a spice wimp.) This was my second time there (at the Albany restaurant), each time with a different group of friends. Both times were lovely. We’ll certainly be back.

   Great meal! Fried chicken and shrimp n grits were delicious. Will go back to try other options. I like the initiative of first time restaurant staff and giving to the food bank. Off street parking is a bonus

   My companions, who are French and serious about food, enjoyed the fried chicken and ribs combo plates. I had the jambalaya which could have been just a touch more moist. Severe a little surprised at the pricing of the top shelf bourbon but could have inquired before ordering. They noticed with interest the social mission of the restaurant and applauded it.

   The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our food was very good except that my dish was a little too spicy for me. I had the shrimp and grits which was very good but spicy. I asked for less spicy and I’m not sure if that message was relayed to the kitchen staff. We will be coming back as I’m looking forward to having ribs

    I was not impressed. The food arrived and was not hot. Sent several dishes back, which i never do. Cocktails were amazing but I would not return for a meal.
