Hassan in the Roppongi neighborhood of Tokyo serves Kobe beef, shabu-shabu and sushi. The interior is the traditional Sukiya style with modern elements. The specialty of Hassan is black wagyu beef shabu-shabu with three grades of meat available. There is also sushi chosen according to what is available seasonally, tempura and crab shabu-shabu. You can choose to dine at Hassan in one of nine private booths with tables so Western guests do not have to sit on the floor or remove shoes. At Hasan, you can choose from an a la carte or an all you can eat plan.

Very delicious meal and fantastic value. We choose the all you can eat Wagyu beef course with nomihodai. The quality of the meat amn vegetables was very good, and it was nice to be able to sample many different sashimi as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

もともと評判も良かったので、安心して予約しました。結果は、評判通り落ち着いた雰囲気のお店で、内装も和装な雰囲気がお洒落でまた行きたくなるお店です。駅に近いのもいいですね。あと、お料理（私は黒毛和牛のしゃぶしゃぶコース）の味・量ともにちょうど良いと思います。コースの量で女性ならちょうど、男性なら追加肉１つという感じでしょうか？何より、しゃぶしゃぶの温度設定が良いのか灰汁が出ないんです！（お肉もいいんだと思いますが）これには彼女とびっくりしながら、灰汁を取る作業もしないで済むので、ほんとに良い時間を過ごせました。

We (me and my 2 kids - 6 and 9 years old) were here on our first night in Tokyo. They make an excellent shabu-shabu (I can say that for sure after almost 2 weeks in Japan). The waiter spoke English well enough to give us directions how to cook shabu-shabu, and was very helpful and attentive in general. They also have sushi in the menu, but as a fixed set only. The restaurant is high-positioned (and quite pricy, though shabu-shabu is never a cheap choice in Japan), but it is not too formal, in fact, we felt quite cozy there. So if you are in the area, it's a lovely spot!

Absolutely amazing. The waiter didn't speak much English, but went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and explain our dishes to us. He went so far as to pull out his phone and Google words to show to us. We had the Wagyu shabu-shabu course meals, and it was worth every Yen. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately our single negative experience during our visit in Tokyo March 2016. Typical atmosphere for Shabu Shabu but staff not prepared and actually not willing to give proper explanations to ordering process and especially preparation process. We felt completely left alone with Japanese menus, all-you-can-eat rules and with the different ingredients served. After 9 o'clock we had the impression that we have leave immediately. only one other room was occupied. We had fun in a group of 5 but comparing with other dining experiences in Tokyo, this one was a fail.
