   Lovely Mother's Day lunch, the lamb especially was superb and the rhubarb and custard creme brulee was really delicious. Harry's never disappoints!

   We cannot recommend this place enough, the food was of exceptional quality. Zoe we were informed was the chef on duty. Mouthwatering dishes. The atmosphere is nicely dimly lit which I love, noting worse then a very brightly lit restaurant, plus it wasn't too noisy - there is lots of wood and soft furnishing to absorb the noise. Perfect for an intimate meal, a couple's meal, a date. The waitress (who was recently back from Canada) was so attentive too and thus the service was excellent. Go if you are a foodie.

   Staff so welcoming and friendly. They are knowledgeable about the menu and drinks too. Gluten free friendly. Food yum and presented beautifully. Cocktails looked so nice but unfortunately I was driving 😔. Ambience reminded me of a french bistro. Definitely recommend especially as a treat and or a celebration.

   Our first visit to Harry’s and thought the restaurant had a lovely vibe - our server India was wonderful. Good service these days is quite rare but felt she went the extra mile to make sure we had a good experience. If I wanted to give some constructive feedback I would suggest that you served a higher quality of fries on a £215 bill - frozen chips should not be an option at the price tag also on with a £90 sharing steak I felt it lacked presentation as just served on a china platter with no garnish and already carved - it again didn’t reflect the £90 price tag. But we had a lovely evening celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary

   We had been to Harry‘s restaurant before, and our experience had been good. This time sadly, we had a much poorer experience. My wife ordered the tuna and specifically asked the server how pink it would be. Our server explained that it was only “slightly pink“. In the event, she found the thicker parts inedible as being very bloody. To be fair, without asking, the manager removed that item from my bill. Another issue is the accompanying green vegetables. I had the pork milanese and it was accompanied by only rocket covered in parmesan. There was masses of it when really a more varied salad accompaniment should have been provided. Fortunately, I’d ordered some fries which went someway towards making up both my missing items and my wife’s missing tuna. On a more complimentary note, we had two glasses of wine which were excellent. I’m sorry but we shall not be returning.

    We felt the food was very overpriced. My partner had a burger which was red in the middle, if he had realised it was going to be like this he would have asked for it to be well done. This along with a bit of salad and coleslaw and a few dry oven fries (frozen) was £23. My crab linguine was tasty but not worth £25. Overall we shared a small starter, main each and a bottle of wine to share for £85. Not value for money at all. We had a gift voucher fortunately, but won’t bother again.

We pride ourselves on our tasty food, and as you can see from our previous reviews, it normally goes down a treat. We like to serve our burgers slightly pink so they retain the juices and don't dry out, and our chips are not frozen. They're hand-cut each day. Apologies you don't feel we were value for money - we do our best to support local independent businesses like our own and unfortunately that does come at a slightly higher price point than shopping from chain suppliers.
