Harry’s Restaurant in Exeter is set in the heart of the city and has been gratifying appetites for 26 years. Rated as one of the best restaurants in Exeter on TripAdvisor, Harry’s has established itself to become the go-to dining den on the neighbourhood food scene.

Founded in 1993 by the Pounds family, Harry’s is still independently owned and run today. The eclectic restaurant, bar and private dining room all sit within the iconic gothic style building, formerly Harry Hems’ 19th century architectural sculptors workshop.

    Legit one of the best meals that me and my family have ever had and I don’t say that lightly! A highlight was the tuna steak which was not only the largest tuna steak I had ever seen but also the tastiest. Cannot recommend this place enough.

    Food and service were excellent. Felt mightily ripped off when charged £5 for a bottle of water, especially when not advised there was a cost. Walked in, was shown to table and my wife was asked would you like water, she replied yes and then still or sparkling. No mention of cost or offer of tap water which would have suggested a cost for the water offered. But £5 for z bottld of water? Come on! Took the sheen off what was otherwise a superb night out.
