   Food overall good, but side of bacon was cold and for me looked like it wasn’t cooked enough (raw white fat). £60 brunch for two is quite expensive. Service excellent and very courteous.

   Lovely environment, amazing food-especially the fried chicken waffle which was incredibly juicy yet not too greasy! Really friendly staff which made the full experience enjoyable

   Watch out! You can only book half cup in the barbican on Open Table, the one I wanted was in Kings Cross. Completely my mistake but they obviously get it all the time as I was advised straight away that I must mean “the other restaurant - it is only 2 stops on the train”, but we were a table of 8 made up of parents with babies. Completely impractical. I thought they were pretty rude in dealing with the situation. Why both restaurants aren’t bookable I don’t know!

   Half Cup Barts is my go to brunch place, because I can book a table in advance and also because the place looks great, it’s cozy, the staff are all nice, if sometimes slow, and I really like the food. They have lots of vegetarian options, can do most things gluten free as well(have friends with allergies) and they have the best milk hot chocolate I’ve had to this day, not to mention, very big portions (in my opinion). Oh, and it looks good in photos too. If you haven’t tried it, I’d say to give it a go🙌🏻

   Very good food and we loved the iced coffees. Wifi was a bit flaky and service could have been quicker though.
