   We had a party of 8 adults and 3 kids. They didn't have enough help so I think the waitress was abit inexperience. She didn't get everything we ordered. I think the restaurant should provide thermos to hold the hot water for our vietnamese coffee because the coffee was not even hot when we could finally drink it. When we finished lunch, my husband went up to the cashier to pay for our bill. She didn't even print us out the bill of the food we ordered. Because it was a large party, the tip was automatically on the bill, then my husband ended up double tipping which they refunded to us. Overall the food was very good. I would go back again. It's very close to home.

   we stopped by at 7:30 pm on a sunday and found convenient street parking on kingsway. the pomelo shrimp and pork salad stole the show—refreshing, citrusy, and loaded with pomelo chunks, lemongrass, pork belly fat, red onions, mint, and peanuts for a flavour-packed bite. the crispy garlic butter wings were a bit rubbery, but the bold flavours and lemongrass dipping sauce made up for it. the crab fried rice, however, was disappointing—small, unevenly cooked, and steeply priced at $28. it’s worth noting that they do not have a liquor license yet.

   Excellent food and good value. Elevated Vietnamese food. Pomelo salad and special of the day Bun Xeo were my favourite.

   The overall food was as tasty as the previous location. The menu choses seems to have expanded. Pomelo salad still a huge hit. The large garlic wings had been improved in flavour, uterly delicious. However, the size of the "must eat" deep fried prawns appear to have slightly shrunk in size along with the serving of the "must eat" crab fried rice. The ability to make reservations is greatly appreciated. We will definitely return for another scrumptious meal. Cheers.

   New modern minimalistic decor. Host / owner very warm n welcoming. We ate at their old locations a few times. Food were excellent except for the new beef noodle which can use more seasoning. The butter chicken wings is a must.

   Have waited a year for Hai Chi Em to re-open at its new location and the anticipation has been worth it. All the flavourful, well-presented dishes that they've been known for served cheerfully in a stylish and comfortable dining room.

   We will give this new restaurant a few months to get organized and then we will come back. They are so new so hopefully they get better as time goes.

    Came here on the day 2 of their launch. The food was tasty and the staff was friendly. The beef salad and garlic chicken wings were standouts Damon this visit. The kitchen flow and front of the house logistics are still being worked out given the grand opening. They should get into their groove in a few weeks. Free street parking out front on Kingsway.
