We had 4 in our group during Denver Restaurant week. The focaccia bread and spread appetizer were the BEST ever all 4 of us has eaten! The calamari also was perfectly prepared. Everything and everyone was very pleased with all the courses offered, including amazing tiramisu and the olive oil cake with raspberries. Our waiter Kael explained that all breads and pizza dough are made from scratch inhouse. Crafted gin drinks were amazing too. Mostly casual but yet upscale place to eat!

Did not realize the regular menu would not be available at all during restaurant week. So ended up with 3 courses on a Sunday, more than I would have otherwise had. I may have missed it when I made the reservation but would have liked that info more front and center. The food was great though some things were off. My friend had finished her first course before mine arrived. It took a full 2 hours for 2 of us to be fully served and pay. And when I ordered a glass of white wine to start, I was told they were sold out of all but two by the glass pours. I have never seen a restaurant just stop serving wines by the glass and not substitute in a similar alternative (ie, open a bottle from the bottle list at a similar price point). Apparently by the time we left they were down to just one white by the glass. Everyone was nice and the food was good but definitely need to iron some things out. I'm not in a rush to go back.

Hi, we had a reservation today at 4:15 for happy hour. Upon arriving for our reservation we were very disappointed. First, we stood there awhile to have someone seat us. No one greeted us and many people walked by (it wasn’t busy). Once seated we were told its restaurant week and we can’t do happy hour. We looked on the website before making the reservation to see happy hour was available today. It had no mention of restaurant week. Even when the open table reservation is confirmed it says on there note-happy hour is only served from 2-5:30. When I mentioned this to our waiter he was very rude. He said “ I don’t know anything about the website but this is what we are doing.” He didn’t apologize for the confusion or the website being in correct. He was just like “let me know what you’re going to do” and walked away. I was really looking forward to trying Gusto as it has been on my list for a while. But I will not be coming back because of the rude staff.

Understandable it was the first night of restaurant week, but they seemed over matched for the evening, ordered a bottle of wine before we put in our entrees, never received it, in spite of asking for it multiple times, when the bill came they still charged us for it, had to wait for them to correct it, they offered my date and I each a half glass of wine to make up for it, when the easier move would’ve been to comp a round of cocktails, after that experience I can easily say I won’t be back. Best bite the waygu meatballs, worst bite the calamari.

First time at Gusto. The whole experience was great. Waited maybe 10 minutes after reservation time, no biggie on Valentines weekend. Service was great, food was great, drinks were great all at fair prices. Was a smidge loud in the upstairs dining room, as their sister restaurant is below (the set up is a little funky but nothing that depletes the experience). We’ll definitely be going back!
