For more than 30 years, Gulfstream Cafe has been a sought-after spot for birthdays, anniversaries and more thanks to the picturesque waterfront view and authentic coastal cuisine. The laid-back atmosphere at this Garden City institution complements the fresh seafood and southern favorites, choice options include broiled Lobster Tail, creamy She Crab Soup and jumbo lump Crab Cakes.     Have had brunch here before and was very satisfied with everything. Today the food was disappointing; scrambled eggs had no flavor, bacon was limp, potatoes were so hard that I had to use a knife to cut into pieces, sausage links so-so. Didn’t have any lunch items. Only saving grace was the biscuits and gravy, but it also needed more seasoning.

    Wonderful view and an overall outstanding experience!!! The salmon was fantastic “best here ever” and we have been coming here for years. Really like the baked potato as well. Thank you all. Great job and see you again soon, Mark

    Kipp is the most outstanding server we have had at Gulstream. He was polite, enthusiastic, and very attentive. We come often and hope he will be there when we return. The food and view was amazing!

    Limited menu with "plated Thanksgiving dinner" options. 2 of us had Thanksgiving option. Ham, turkey, veggies lacked flavor and very institutionalized. They were sold out of beef option on menu. The other 2 guests had crab cakes and fish. Sold out of baked potatoes. These menu options seemed more flavorful. Service was good. Probably won't try this again.

    While the sunset was beautiful, Thanksgiving dinner was very disappointing . A mini corn muffin with no butter, green beans with one baby carrot, no substitutions (like an extra serving of stuffing instead of sweet potatoes), not even a small salad, small portions of turkey and ham. A bit expensive for a basic turkey dinner. Felt kind of ripped off!

    Unexpectedly crowded for Thanksgiving. Menu was limited, and food was ok but not great... lukewarm and felt basic. Restaurant service was good given the volume, but bar service was terrible, and hostesses were not pleasant. Understand that it is stressful to work on a holiday but still...

    We were seated right on time. The only negative was, we were at the door to the deck. With people going in and out it was blowing cool air on us. On the plus side the food was good and our server was exceptional.
