   Overall, we had a good time. We started off with the Calamari and Mussels which were both good. Then we ordered the Filet, Veal, Alfredo and Pear Salad which were all delicious. We also ordered a bottle of wine. After the first glass, I did have to pour the rest myself. I mentioned in the notes that we were celebrating my daughter’s competition and was very pleased that they sent out a chocolate cake with a candle for her. She loves chocolate so this was the perfect way to end the dinner.

   I’ve been in Houston part time for 5 years. Im mad at myself for not trying this place sooner. Absolutely delish! This will be added to our rotation of local restaurants. The pizza, pasta and fish entrees were well seasoned and flavorful. Delish!

    The food and wait staff at this Grotto location are great. We also received a nice welcome when we arrived, skipped the line and were taken right to our table. The only downside to this wonderful restaurant is that it is noisy. Might they create a space where the acoustics are better for those with hearing troubles? Sorry the location in The Woodlands, TX, closed.
