   I had the waffle and chicken. The chicken wings were very good. I do plan to go back so that I can try their grits!

   Food was very tasty but not as hot as it should have been when arriving to the table. I ordered shrimp and grits,Everyone knows when grits are not hot they are not all that great. We waited for over an hour for our food to arrive so expected it to be much hotter. I sat in the booth and noticed that both the booth, chairs and the table could have been cleaner.

   We had an appointment for six at 11:15 and were not seated until 11:45. One couple in our party had time constraints due to travel and this was a concern for them. Eventually we were seated at two tables. My Bloody Mary was served in a smallish glass, no garnish like olive , bacon, celery. Food was considered good but not exceptional. Exception was the hamburger that received a rave review. Our group review is that this place is very close to being excellent to great but is falling short of those benchmarks at the present time. I would return, but my expectation level is reset. I wish them the best in the future.

   The order wasn't put in when ordered. The manager wasn't very apologetic. The food was ok. I will not be returning.

   I prepaid for a reservation for my mother’s birthday totaling 10 people. When our group arrived I was told they don’t push tables together but we all had to be on one ticket which means the automatic 18% gratuity for parties over 6 would apply. This did not sit right with me because why was I being forced to pay for accommodations the restaurant was unwilling to make, after I spoke on how my reservation was made over a week prior. The info about how they don’t seat people together & the 1 ticket with gratuity is not listed on the reservation section anywhere. The staff did not care. We had to sit at 3 separate tables with some of our backs facing each other when the tables could’ve quickly been pushed together. Several of us received food that was not up to par with their prices (salty, cold, missing something). The waitress was nice but continuously reached over our plates while we were eating. At the end of our visit I had food items we did not order added to my tab. I waited over 10 mins and had to ask a 2nd time if the waitress forgot about the cash. I spoke to the manager and nothing was done to make our experience better. That was my 2nd time there and the 1st time my waffle was only done on the outside. I will not be going back any time soon after the recent time. I give any place a few chances but the lack of concern for the customer blew my mind that day.
