   My pasta was great, huge portion. I was able to eat half of it. Husband's flatbread was very good. We both had a couple beers, they were very good. Service was great. I had to put my coat on, it was chilly.

   First time for us and we look forward to eating here on a regular basis! The spinach artichoke dip was amazing - it came out a little toasty and we loved it so much we would ask them to do that again! The chicken pot pie tasted delicious but was a little on the soupy side under the crust. If you get the chocolate cake, say yes to the side of vanilla ice cream!!

   We had reservations made days in advance for New Year's Eve. We arrived and they tell us the kitchen is backed up and they had a party come in. We would have to wait 2 hours. This happened to numerous people there that had reservations and everyone was standing around and more people coming in. My understanding also is the party they took in didn't have reservations. Instead of the restaurant saying I'm sorry we are booked for the night. They took them and screwed everyone else with reservations over. It's not like we could just leave and go somewhere else since it was New Years Eve everything was booked. I'm so disappointed in Granite City. This happened one other time with short staff and having to wait but nothing like this. We will not be back. The worse part not ONE MANAGER came up to help or apologize and at least offer us something to come back a different day.

We were overwhelmed by online orders early, and had our hands full when we got to reservations. I apologize again for the headaches and confusion caused that night.    Our reservation was at 7:15. We never got a table and had to leave by nine for a prior commitment. The bartender was fantastic. The couple next to us had a reservation at seven along with six other people that ended up leaving because we never got seated.

   We were there with a reservation for NYE. The hostesses had no idea how to check people in because the iPad was missing. Once found it was still chaos. After being sat 15 minutes after our time we waited another 10 to be greeted. The server was nice and let us know they had no staff and food was taking well over 2 hours. We left and got right in at chilis and had a great meal and service in about an hour, which was important as we had another engagement to attend.

    After an hour ans a half we never actually got served our food. Took over 30 minutes to get water and even at that we had to ask 2 servers for help. Will not recommend of ever return.
