   We really enjoy the Sunday Brunch Buffet at The Grand Concourse. From the smoked salmon with onions, capers, and horseradish, to the custom omelettes, homemade donuts, and sticky buns with pecans, we enjoy the spread. The setting, in a former train station, is beautiful. After brunch we enjoy walking along the riverfront. The only thing we don't love is the coffee as we find it a bit bitter. A word of advice, make your reservation knowing that, at really busy times, you can still wait a half hour for your table. It's worth it, just plan accordingly

   This was our first visit to the Grand Concourse. We enjoyed the brunch and the beauty of the building!

   Food and atmosphere were good. Server was not personable to us. She did not explain what they had to offer or take a drink order. Had to speak with manager to have server even come ask us if we wanted drinks. I assume the manager spoke with her as she returned with a much stronger adverse attitude. Would not recommend if you have children as she was very pleasant to adult only tables. Manager was very kind and was immediate to address the situation. Unfortunate that his talk with her had undesired consequences.

   Disappointed overall for this dinner experience. We usually come to brunch and always amazing. We celebrated during dinner this time and the service was not great - had to keep asking for beverage refills, half of our 8 person party was served their main course and had to wait at least 5 minutes for the other half to get served. Food was cold - sent some back. Overall, service was slow and poor. Also, in the Gandy Dancer beforehand, it was hard to get drink service....and equally hard to pay. Expect better service and food quality at a restaurant of this caliber. There was one good part - the special dessert requested was correct and delicious. Hoping this was just a bad night. We will return.....for brunch - always very special and delicious!

   Always a wonderful experience. It would be nice if they offered a varied selection for chicken entrees but overall the food was wonderful, service was great.

   Our dinner and service from Reid was excellent. The ambience of the room is second to none in the city of Pittsburgh. It is puzzling why it seems to take so long to get seated when we arrive. We have dined here several times and it always seems to take an unusual amount of time to figure out how to seat us at a table. Also unusual to see the host was wearing a tattered gray hoodie at the host station.
